Curse no!! Let me explain to you guys, Last Saturday when we meet at River City I have mention that my car Radiator was leaking and that the temp. was going some over, well last Tuesday during my normal driving and work rutine I was at Home Depot (southside) ready to jump in the car and take off, well time to crank the car on then a big rattle noise came from the engine compartment shot this right away, wait some minutes thinking probably a discharge lifter and same happened shot it down.
Contact insurance tow the car back home call friend of my mechanic, check it in the afternoon, first diagnostic after computer check up 4th coil and throtle body possible.

Saturday came(yesterday) spend all morning cheking sparks plugs found that some how the sparks were completely close can explain how this did happened some you with more expiriance mite know, coil replacement, remove the head cover to check the springs lifters and all seem to be ok time to crank, well last Tuesday afternoon was some minimum to noting lite smoke coming from the mufflers well this time wasn't that little to nothing was white smoke all over the place shut down.

We do think that a oil ring on cilinder #4, well you guys do know what this mean.

Totaly out of comicion till decision, some big$$ will need.

Well everyone any advice it is welcome.

I be riding a I know will hurt for some of you guys but yes I be riding an Ford Explorer

If not able to have it work will be some items for sale coming so will let everyone know.

Oh no. This isn't good.

Any other car and I'd say explore trading it in. However, it's a Daytona and the way you take care of it , it makes the most sense to me to fix it. Glad it appears you may have caught it before too much damage was done.

Mario. Rule of thumb. Blue smoke = oil, White smoke = water.
Usual cause for white smoke is a blown head gasket. Worst case is a cracked head. If it's a head gasket, smoke will lessen the longer the motor runs as it burns the water, but you are drawing water from the cooling system and car will start to run hot. Is smoke coming out of both exhausts? Any wetness under the hood?

Maybe. Not sure if both banks share the entire suitcase or if seperated. If shared(same as a cross over) I don't see the need for the resonators. A cross over would eliminate drone and with no resonators, you have drone. I know from my '06.

Hey Mario, what does the oil look like? How many plugs were damaged? Do you have pics of the bent plugs? Have you looked into the cylinder through the plug holes? How loud was this noise? Any chance you could have dropped a valve? Check for piston damage.

Sorry my camera it is not that good to get pictures of it, I have check the piston throught the plug holes and seem to be ok also have remove the valve cover and rotated the engine manualy and seem that all the springs are ok none loose.

Smoke are coming from both exhaust and yes it is white. Do you think with just replacing the head gasket will take care of? I do still have to send both head to the shop or just the one?

Oil do look lite thing I have Synthetic oil, did sound like a loose valve, lifter without oil, I m not sure if explaning my self well.

Thank You guys!
