I remove my center console and shifter to run some wires and I saw this..

It sure looks like it.. It has a spring and all and doesn't look all that durable. Well if it is at least it's not hard to get to and replace.. lol..

That would suck.

My '08 doesn't have one, and I replaced the one in my '05 just in case. The '02 is a stick, so it doesn't even matter.

back when i had my magnum i was always worried about that thing but man when i drove a tow truck that was a money maker loved it!!!
